B.U.G. Program

The Kiwanis Club of Cape May sponsors the B.U.G. program in area schools.

West Cape May Elementary, Cape May City Elementary, Maud Abrams and Sandman School all participate in the recent B.U.G celebrations.

The children brought their grades up from their last report card and received a BUG certificate and a package of Colored markers as rewards.

Congratulations and the Kiwanis Club of Cape May will see you again after the next marking period in April. Keep up the good work! The Kiwanis Club is proud of you!

Kiwanis Club Flag Ceremony

Every year at the Cove in Cape May – the Cape May Kiwanis Club does the flag ceremony. We love to have participants and volunteers to assist in the great honor.

Wreaths Across America 2024

Kiwanis Club participated in this years Wreaths Across America 2024 at Cold Springs. Our own member Larry Notch laid the wreath at the Navy Flag and the widow of long time member – Jim Rochford and her son Sean laid the wreath at her husbands grave.

Entering our 101st Year –

This past month the Kiwanis Club of Cape May celebrated their 101st installation for new President and Board. Congratulations to Patricia Hendricks who will serve as the new President! Tricia is pictured with outgoing President, Kathleen Finley, and Kathleen is passing the gavel (torch) to Tricia. Kathleen was awarded a pin and patch for distinguished club service from the District Governor Gordon Ball. Kathleen is also shown with past President Jennie McCaney and Kathleen received a plaque for her service as Cape May Kiwanis President 2023-2024.
