Bring Up Grades or BUG is a program designed to provide recognition to students who raise their grades into an acceptable range and maintain or continue to raise them from one grading period to the next. Recognition includes being placed on the school’s BUG Honor Roll; a pizza, ice cream or other food-themed party; and presentation of certificates and buttons.

In K-Kids clubs worldwide, children are learning leadership through service. They’re taking on the responsibility of running a K-Kids club as they plan and participate in community service projects. They assist the elderly with chores or organize community food drives.They serve their schools, raising funds for playground and sports equipment and extracurricular activities.
In big and small ways, they’re changing the world around them. But the most significant change happens in the kids themselves.
TOE BY TOE TUTORING
Toe by Toe Tutoring program uses a 1:1 model; one tutor-one student, third through six grades. After initial training and on-going support, the tutors meet with the students for a 30 minute session, twice/week in a quiet room at the school.
Toe by Toe gives people with reading challenges the ability to improve their reading and confidence. More than 500,000 people with reading difficulties worldwide including children, adolescents, adults have all greatly improved their reading ability and decoding skills thanks to Toe By Toe.
Even though the steps taken are small, students and their tutors can clearly measure progress right from the first page. Not only are reading skills and comprehension greatly improved, but confidence and self-esteem often grow in equal measure.
